Key figures
10 out of 10 in customer satisfaction
Minutes, not hours, spent sorting out irrelevant search results
1 shared overview for the whole sales team, not just Bid Managers

Background: A tender process that affects many, but that few had visibility into
Sikri delivers quality management, archive, case-management and building-permit systems to public sector organisations in Norway, and works with public tenders as part of its own sales operations. With up to 12 people involved in a single tender, it was previously a challenge to give the whole sales team ongoing insight into status, while the search for new opportunities itself took a lot of time to sort through.
Employees at Sikri now get quick help to resolve questions, and have gone from a complicated user interface to a forward-looking and intuitive interface that makes everyday work easier for all users.
Challenges:
Time-consuming to sort through search results to find the procurements that were actually relevant
Only those working closely on a given tender had ongoing visibility into status and deadlines
Needed to get quick help and support whenever questions came up
"Daily search reports for relevant tenders could previously contain 20–30 tender notices. After reviewing all the tenders, the result could be that none of them were relevant to us. With Tendium, we are presented with more relevant tenders in our search results. This saves time for us in the sales unit," says Odd Henrik Hansen, Sales Director at Sikri AS.
The solution: In-house processes meet Tendium
Sikri has long had its own, established routines for how a tender moves from a published opportunity to the contract being awarded to the winner. The most important thing for Sikri has been finding a solution that easily adapts to internal routines, rather than requiring the organisation to change its own routines.
Tendium provides precise search that captures the right opportunities, summaries that quickly show what a set of tender documents is actually about, and a visualisation of where each individual tender is in the sales pipeline at any given time. Because this overview is visual and shared, everyone in the sales department – including those who only handle a single task along the way – can quickly get their bearings on status and deadlines, regardless of how closely they work on any given tender.
Improvements:
Precise search means the team spends significantly less time on irrelevant results
Visualisation of where each tender is in the sales pipeline, available to the whole department
Summary and win-strategy features streamline and improve critical parts of the tender process
A user interface so simple that even infrequent users find their way around it right away
The result: The whole sales team on board, regardless of role
For Sikri, the benefit is about more than just a better search. The time freed up when the team no longer has to sort out irrelevant results goes straight back into the actual tender work. At the same time, the whole sales department – not just those who work with tenders daily – has gained shared control over where things stand in the process, making it easier to organise around deadlines regardless of role.
At Tendium, Sikri's sales leadership received a strong product presentation, close follow-up, and quick answers to questions along the way. Sikri sees Tendium as forward-looking, with built-in AI support and a modern, intuitive interface.
Results:
More time for the actual tender work, less time spent sorting
Shared control and visibility across the whole sales department
Fast onboarding for colleagues who use Tendium
A forward-looking product with built-in AI support, and strong support through the transition
