What Is a Contract Performance Notice?
This is a UK procurement term. A notice reporting on how a supplier is performing against its KPIs, published periodically for larger contracts.
Which contracts need a contract performance notice?
Public contracts worth over £5 million, which must have at least three KPIs. Performance must be published at least once a year.
What else triggers a notice?
Breaches of contract resulting in termination, damages or a settlement, and failures to perform to the buyer's satisfaction after being given a chance to improve.
Why does it matter to suppliers?
Published performance information can be taken into account in future procurements, so poor performance can affect future bids.
