What Is a Corrigendum Notice (Korjausilmoitus, Finland)?
This is a Finnish procurement term. A notice by which the contracting authority corrects or supplements a previously published procurement notice or tender request.
When must a corrigendum notice be published?
When something material in the original notice or tender request changes — the deadline, the requirements, the scope or the evaluation criteria — so that all suppliers receive the correction at the same time.
Does the tender deadline have to be extended as well?
If the change is significant, yes. Suppliers must be left a reasonable time to take the correction into account before submitting their bid.
What should a supplier do when one is published?
Re-read the changed sections rather than skimming the notice. A corrigendum can alter requirements you have already written your answers around, and the version at the deadline is the one your bid is assessed against.
