What Is eBevis?
eBevis is a Norwegian digital service, run by DFØ, that lets contracting authorities retrieve suppliers' documentation — such as tax and VAT certificates and company register information — directly from public registers, so suppliers do not have to submit it themselves.
What does eBevis retrieve?
Tax and VAT certificates, accounting information and company register data, pulled directly from public registers rather than being submitted by the supplier.
Does it work for foreign suppliers?
Only partly. eBevis draws on Norwegian registers, so suppliers established abroad usually still have to submit equivalent documentation themselves.
What is the benefit for suppliers?
Less paperwork per competition, and documentation that is always current, so a certificate cannot be rejected for being out of date.
