What Is eCertis?
An EU-maintained information system showing which certificates and documents are required in public procurement in each member state.
What does eCertis show?
Which certificates, declarations and other evidence a buyer in each EU country requires for exclusion grounds and selection criteria, and what the equivalent documents are in other countries.
Who uses it?
Buyers, to check which foreign documents are equivalent to their national ones, and suppliers bidding abroad, to find out what is expected of them.
Is it binding?
No. It is an information tool maintained by the European Commission. The buyer still decides what to accept, but should accept equivalents.
