The body that drafts and maintains the VOB. Its members represent public buyers, the construction industry and the professions.
Does it have legal authority?
Not directly. The VOB becomes binding when the federal government and the states introduce it by regulation or administrative rule, which they do.
Why does it matter to suppliers?
Every change to the VOB/A, VOB/B or VOB/C originates in the DVA and its subcommittees.
