This is a German procurement term. The cancellation of only part of a procurement procedure, for example individual lots.
When can part of a tender be cancelled?
When the grounds for cancellation apply only to some lots, for example because no acceptable bid was received for them.
What happens to the other lots?
They are awarded normally. The cancellation does not affect them.
Can bidders for the cancelled lots claim costs?
If the cancellation was not justified, yes, for the cost of preparing the bid for those lots.
