What Is a Performance Deadline in Public Contracts (Ausführungsfrist, Germany)?
This is a German procurement term. The period within which the commissioned service must be delivered.
What is the Ausführungsfrist?
The period within which the contracted service must be performed, set in the tender documents and binding once the contract is formed.
Can a bidder propose a different period?
Only if the tender documents allow it. Otherwise it is a deviation leading to exclusion.
What if it cannot be met?
Default under the contract. Under the VOB/B, the buyer can claim liquidated damages if agreed, and terminate after a grace period.
