What is an Eigenerklärung?
The bidder's own written statement that it meets certain requirements, such as the absence of exclusion grounds or a minimum turnover, submitted instead of certificates.
Is it enough?
At the bidding stage, yes. The buyer asks the bidder in line for the award to submit the underlying evidence before signature.
What if a self-declaration is false?
Exclusion, and potentially exclusion from future procedures. A false declaration about exclusion grounds is itself an exclusion ground.
