What Is a Supplementary Request (Nachforderung, Germany)?
This is a German procurement term. The contracting authority's request that missing documents or evidence be submitted within a deadline.
What is a Nachforderung?
The buyer's request that a bidder submit declarations or evidence that were missing or incomplete, within a deadline it sets, usually six days.
Is the buyer obliged to request?
Under the VgV it may; under the VOB/A it must, for missing declarations and evidence. Prices and content of the bid cannot be requested.
What if the deadline is missed?
The bid is excluded. The deadline is strict and not extendable.
