What Is a Tax Certificate (Skatteattest, Norway)?
This is a Norwegian procurement term. Documentation showing that the supplier has paid its taxes and duties.
Who must provide a tax certificate?
Norwegian suppliers in competitions above a set value. It confirms that taxes, VAT and employer contributions have been paid.
How recent must it be?
Normally no older than six months at the tender deadline. An expired certificate is a frequent cause of rejection.
Can eBevis replace it?
Yes, for Norwegian suppliers. Buyers using eBevis retrieve the certificate directly, so the supplier does not need to submit it.
