What Is a Weighted Requirement (B-krav, Norway)?
This is a Norwegian procurement term. A requirement that is not absolute, but feeds into the evaluation and earns credit in the award.
How is a B-krav scored?
Against the published evaluation model, so that a bid that meets the requirement better earns more points. It is not pass or fail.
How does it differ from an A-krav?
An A-krav must be met for the bid to be considered. A B-krav influences the ranking of bids that have already passed the A-krav.
How should a supplier answer one?
By showing how well the solution meets it, with evidence. Simply confirming compliance tends to earn minimum points.
