The public market for IT services is growing – and the giants dominate
The digitalisation of the public sector continues apace, and public organisations are spending more and more on IT services. In four years, spending on IT services has increased by a full 25 per cent.
The IT services giants maintain a strong dominance among suppliers. Between 63 and 65 per cent of payments went to just ten companies in total, and just over 50 large companies account for 67 per cent of public payments to IT suppliers.
